At Marsden Junior School we expect our children to leave with a passion for languages and a commitment to the subject. We wish to instill the confidence to speak with good intonation and pronunciation, alongside fluency in reading and fluency and imagination in writing. They will have the ability to use language creatively and spontaneously. Children will develop an independence in their studies and the ability to draw upon a wide range of resources. They will have a strong awareness of the culture of the countries where the language is spoken.
